Late Collection Policy
Children must be collected by the advertised finish time of the program. If a parent or authorised nominee is delayed, they must contact Kids Up Front as soon as possible.
Kids Up Front has a duty of care to all children attending our programs. Children will not be left unsupervised and may only be released to a parent, authorised nominee, or under a written self-sign-out arrangement approved by Kids Up Front.
A late collection fee of $2 per minute per child will apply after the scheduled collection time. This fee contributes to the additional staffing costs incurred when staff are required to remain on site to supervise a child after the program has ended.
Parents may not instruct Kids Up Front staff to leave a child unattended, allow a child to wait alone, or allow a child to make their own way home unless a prior written self-sign-out arrangement has been approved by Kids Up Front.
Where a child has not been collected, Kids Up Front will attempt to contact the parent or guardian and, if necessary, authorised emergency contacts. In exceptional circumstances, where no responsible adult can be contacted, Kids Up Front reserves the right to seek assistance from the appropriate authorities.
Repeated late collections may result in a review of the family’s enrolment in future programs.
Terms & Conditions
- I acknowledge and agree that Kids Up Front Drama Academy hereafter referred to as Kids Up Front) to the fullest extent permitted by law, excludes all liability for any loss, damage or other claim arising from or in any way connected to the attendance of my child/children at the Kids Up Front Drama Classes, including without limitation claims relating to personal injury, or the use and publication of photographs.
- I hereby release and forever discharge Kids Up Front Performing Arts Academy Ltd from any and all liability, loss and damage (including direct, indirect and consequential) or any other claim in anyway associated with the attendance of my child/children at the Kids Up Front Drama Classes.
- I understand that payment is required in full in advance of the term and consent to sending full payment prior to my child commencing with Kids Up Front. Payment is payable through credit card or bank transfer.
- I acknowledge that refunds will only be given with 14 days cancellation notice. There are no refunds or credits if you miss a class, and no make-up classes available.
- I accept that Kids Up Front reserves the right to refuse admission to any person that presents a disciplinary problem to staff or a threat to the safety and well being of other children. Unacceptable language or bullying will under no circumstances be tolerated and will result in the child being removed from the program with no refund.
- I acknowledge that my personal information will be stored in accordance with current privacy legislation. Credit card details are not held by Kids Up Front.
- I consent to Kids Up Front, its officers, agents, employees and proprietors taking photographs, video and digital recordings or any other visual or audio recordings of my child/children.
- I consent to Kids Up Front using photographs, video and digital recordings and using these in any medium, including the website, social media, brochures or for marketing purposes.
- Kids Up Front reserves the right to cancel or change the timetable and pricing structure at any point in time.
- Kids Up Front has the right to refuse entry to any child who is displaying signs of infectious diseases including nits.
- I agree to pick my child on time from class and understand the teacher is entitled to impose a late fee of $2 for every minute I am late.
