Meet the Team

Karin is the founder and Director of Kids Up Front Drama Academy and her passion is helping children gain confidence through having lots of fun! She loves watching children grow and develop and leading the creative and dynamic team of drama, vocal and dance teachers who teach for Kids Up Front.

Zoé is a drama teacher at Kids Up Front, working across the After School Program and Holiday Camps. A former Kids Up Front student herself, she has been a dedicated member of the teaching team since 2021. Zoé is passionate about helping young people build confidence, creativity, and a love of storytelling through drama.

Riley is a passionate performing artist and educator with over 10 years of experience teaching dance, singing, and acting. They love helping young people shine - building confidence, sparking creativity, and having a whole lot of fun along the way. In class, Riley brings all the drama (in the best way!) with a playful, energetic approach that’s rooted in real industry know-how.

Simon has several years experience as a children’s entertainer and Drama teacher and has been part of the Kids Up Front team since 2018 teaching after school Drama Classes and at School Holiday Camps.

Erin is a singer/ songwriter, dancer, and performer, as well as a drama and performing arts tutor. She began with Kids Up Front in 2023, and loves helping her students shine on stage! In 2025, Erin was the Children’s Director for Annie the Musical during the Sydney season. That same year, she performed the national anthem at the NRL State of Origin decider—an honour she has received three times.

Greta has been involved in theatre since she was a teenager, and is passionate about creating a warm and open environment for children to express themselves through drama! Greta joined the Kids Up Front team in 2024.

Claudia joined the Kids Up Front teaching team in 2025. She has been involved in theatre since she was in primary school, attending Kids Up Front at age 8 which ignited her passion for performance! Claudia is focused on igniting passion for the children and to provide the same opportunities she was fortunate enough to receive at their age.

Avalon has been working with Kids Up Front since 2010 and was one of our first dance teachers at our Performing Arts Holiday Camps. She is a very talented dancer and choreographer and one of our most popular teachers!

Hayley has worked for Kids Up Front since 2016, as a Dance Teacher and Camp Supervisor. Hayley began her dancing career around the age of 11 studying jazz, tap and lyrical on the NSW central coast. She likes to inspire others to believe in themselves and their dreams!

Katie specialises in making singing fun, and loves to develop new ways to make performers feel comfortable and confident when they’re on stage! You’ll always catch Katie with a smile on her face and a skip in her step, at our Melbourne Holiday Camps! She has been working for Kids Up Front since January 2023.

Jennifer works at our Melbourne Performing Arts Holiday Camps. She has been working for Kids Up Front for more than 10 years. Jenn has been involved in theatre, film and television as a creator, writer, actor, producer and director for more than 20 years.

Dallas is an actor who has worked in the industry in both theatre and TV, notably, as a TV presenter for ABC ME and for Bell Shakespeare as a touring performer. Dallas started working with Kids Up Front as a Drama Teacher in 2024.

Naomi is an actor, singer, songwriter and director. Naomi started started working with Kids Up Front in 2021, primarily as a Drama Teacher, and also regularly works at our Performing Arts Holiday Camps.

Bree is a Melbourne based dancer and choreographer, who has trained for more than 20 years in all styles of dance, including commercial, hip hop, ballet, jazz, Bollywood, pointe, tap, partner work, etc. Bree has been working for Kids Up Front at our Performing Arts Holiday Camps since 2021.

Rachel Tunaley is a Melbourne based performer, singing teacher and drama teacher. She is also an accomplished performing arts teacher, with over 10 years experience teaching children and adults of all different ages and abilities. Rachel joined the Melbourne team for the Kids Up Front Holiday Camps in 2022.

Demi has been training in singing, dancing and drama since a very young age! Demi first began teaching in 2015 and has loved sharing the joy of the performing arts with her students ever since. She enjoys seeing students’ creativity and watching them develop and thrive in her classes. She has been a part of the team at Kids Up Front since 2021!

Sue is Kids Up Front’s Administration Manager, based in our Head Office in Sydney.
