KUF Camp Refund Policy – effective 1 May 2024:
Cancellations made at least 28 days prior to the commencement of a camp will receive a refund, less an administrative charge of $60.
Cancellations made between 27 days and 21 days prior to the commencement of a camp will receive a refund, less a cancellation fee of 30% of the total camp fee paid.
Cancellations made between 20 days and 14 days prior to the commencement of a camp will receive a refund, less a cancellation fee of 50% of the total camp fee paid.
REFUNDS OR CREDITS will be given for cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the commencement of the camp.
No credits will be given for missed days due to illness (or any other reason) once the camp has commenced.
Terms & Conditions
1. Limitation of Liability (to the extent permitted by law)
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kids Up Front Drama Academy (Kids Up Front) excludes all liability for any loss, damage, cost or expense (including direct, indirect or consequential loss), or any claim arising out of or in connection with my child/children’s participation in any Kids Up Front camp/workshop/program, including (without limitation) personal injury, property loss or damage, and the use and publication of photographs and video recordings, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
2. Release and Indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and forever discharge Kids Up Front and its directors, officers, employees, contractors and agents from all liability, loss, damage, cost, expense or claim arising out of or in connection with my child/children’s participation in any Kids Up Front camp/workshop/program (including online workshops). I agree to indemnify Kids Up Front against any loss, liability, cost or expense incurred by Kids Up Front arising from any act or omission of my child/children and/or any breach of these Terms & Conditions by me or my child/children, except to the extent caused by the negligence of Kids Up Front.
3. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy conferred under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable laws which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified.
4. Attendance, Participation and Roles
Kids Up Front reserves the right to allocate, alter or withdraw roles/parts at its discretion. If a child is not attending the final performance/show time, Kids Up Front may (at its discretion) reallocate any speaking role to support the smooth running of the performance.
5. Fees and Payment
I acknowledge that full payment is required prior to my child attending any camp/workshop/program. Payment is payable by credit card or bank transfer.
6. Behaviour and Safety
Kids Up Front reserves the right to refuse admission to, or remove, any child or person whose behaviour is considered a disciplinary issue, or who poses a threat to the safety or wellbeing of children, staff, or others. Unacceptable language, bullying, intimidation, aggressive behaviour or harassment will not be tolerated and may result in the child being removed from the camp/workshop/program without refund.
7. Parent / Guardian Conduct
I acknowledge and agree that parents/guardians and authorised adults must behave in a respectful and appropriate manner while attending any Kids Up Front program, including during drop-off, pick-up, transitions and performance times. Parents/guardians must not approach, question, intimidate, threaten, or otherwise confront any child (other than their own) for any reason. Any concerns regarding a child’s behaviour must be raised directly with Kids Up Front staff so that the matter can be managed appropriately.
Kids Up Front reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to refuse entry to, direct the removal of, or restrict access for, any parent/guardian or authorised adult who breaches this condition or whose conduct is considered inappropriate or poses a risk to the safety, wellbeing, or enjoyment of any child, staff member, or other attendee. Where Kids Up Front takes such action, no refund will be provided.
8. Privacy
I acknowledge that my personal information will be collected, stored and handled in accordance with applicable privacy legislation. Credit card details are not held by Kids Up Front.
9. Photography and Recording Consent
I consent to Kids Up Front, its officers, agents, employees and proprietors taking photographs, video and digital recordings or any other visual or audio recordings of my child/children.
I consent to Kids Up Front using photographs, video and digital recordings in any medium, including the website, brochures, marketing materials and social media.
10. Program Changes
Kids Up Front reserves the right to cancel, change or amend timetables, venues, programs, and pricing at any point in time.
11. Grouping of Children
Kids Up Front reserves the right to group children in the age group and/or class group it deems appropriate. I understand it is not always possible for children to be grouped with their friends.
12. Collection and Late Fees
I agree to collect my child by 5:25pm each day (except on Show Day, where collection times may vary). If I am late, I agree to pay a late fee of $2 per minute (or part thereof).
13. Personal Information
I acknowledge that my personal information will be stored in accordance with current privacy legislation. Credit card details are not held by Kids Up Front.
