Pollyanna studied acting in New York City at David Mamet’s Atlantic Acting School and when she was 11 she started as a student of Kids Up Front Drama Academy.
Since seriously perusing acting in 2007 she has performed in over 40 theatre productions and 25 films. Performing in America, England, Scotland, Poland and Australia. In 2009 she received the NSDF Sunday Times Emerging Artist Award For Acting at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. In 2013 she played Shakespeare’s Hamlet at Sydney’s Fig Tree Theatre a heritage listed theatre where Bell Shakespeare played his first Hamlet and Mel Gibson first tread the boards. This year Polly is commencing her first year in NIDA’s acting course.
Pollyanna has been working for Kids Up Front since 2012. She is also a History Educator for the Sydney Harbour Federation Trust on Cockatoo Island, she has worked as a Shakespeare Educator for Emu Heights Productions reaching schools in Western Sydney, as a substitute drama teacher at AYT and teaches HSC drama workshops on request.
